School Break Dance and Performance Workshops

Our school break dance and performance workshops are always very popular and a great way for children to make new friends and build confidence in all aspects of performance. Workshops are a fun packed week where your child will have the opportunity to learn new dance steps including a mixture of dance styles and also learn all aspects of performance such as drama and singing. The focus is always on fun and children discover hidden talents and a great way to banish boredom.
There are lots of subjects to explore so children are sure to find classes exciting and fun, whether a budding Cheerleader or High School Musical fan or a Leona Lewis sing-a-like. Our talented dance team will teach you everything you need to know. School break dance and performance workshops cover: Ballroom, Latin, Disco, Street, Salsa, Rock 'n' Roll, Singing, Drama, Cheerleading, High School Musical/ Musical Theatre.

When do to School Break Workshops take place and who can attend ?

The workshops are open to children from the age of 5 to 13years. Times for workshops are from 10.00am to 3.00pm (doors open at 9.30am for registration and pick up is from 3.00 – 3.30pm allowing parents to watch a short performance at 3.00pm). A charge will be applied for pupils staying beyond 3.45pm.

Why do a School Break Dance Workshop?

• Our workshops are a perfect way to develop performance skills and banish the boredom in the school holidays.

• Especially for boys and girls interested in finding out about dance and performance.

• The Age range is 5 – 13 years and children are welcome whether they have dance experience or not, male or female.

• The courses are held either between one day or over a week period dependant upon where we are in the school year and can be booked in advance.

• Each full workshop ends with a performance to friends and family using all the skills learnt during the sessions.

Costs

£20.00 for the day per child with a 20% discount of the total cost for families of 2 or more children

There are a maximum 15 places which are based upon a first come first served basis

All of our staff are fully qualified, insured and CRB checked

Children attending for the full day will be required to bring a packed lunch and an extra bottle of water. Comfortable footwear and clothing must be worn.

• 9.30am Registration

• 10.00 – 10.45am Street Dance

• 11.00 – 11.45am High School Musical/Musical Theatre

• 11.45 – 12.30pm Cheerleading

• 12:30 – 1.15pm Lunch Break

• 1.15 – 2.00pm Latin American and Ballroom

• 2.15 – 3.00pm Singing and Drama

• 3.00 – 3.30pm Performance time!
