You will start the with an introduction into a variety of pole spins, different grip methods, as well as some simple transition moves, and even a few floor work moves.
Pole fitness classes provide a fun and motivation-filled way to improve both your mental and physical well being. Our classes are suitable for ladies of all ages (16-60+),shapes, sizes and fitness levels. You will soon discover greater muscle tone and definition in the arms, waist, bottom, thighs and legs. You will also gain an increased flexibility and a little extra self confidence!

We teach all levels of pole dancing, from beginners to advanced. You will learn a whole variety of pole dancing tricks and poses and the dance moves that link them all together during each course.
All of our courses are for the duration of 1 hour and sessions start with a warm up, and then the pole dancing begins. We currently have 3/4 poles in our studio and have no more than 2 people per pole so you have plenty of time to practice what you're learning. There are between 3 and 8 women per course. Classes are fun, friendly and supportive and everyone is welcome, no matter what age, shape, or size you are. Pole dancing is a great way to get fit and a great confidence boost as well

This course is for people who have never pole danced before, whether you're someone who hasn't done any exercise for years or a fitness fanatic. After 6 weeks you will notice a difference in your strength and will be please at how much you're able to do on the pole. The knee hook spin, backspin, graceful back spin, fireman spin, cartwheel kick, crucifix and climbing the pole are just some of the moves you will learn. We have a session on stretching and finish with a dance to show off your pole dancing moves. We then finish with a cool down.
Having completed the beginners course most
people want to carry on and learn more. Pole dancing can be very
addictive! The Advanced beginners course is a continuation from the
beginners. With the strength you will have built up from pole
dancing before, you will be able to grasp lots more of the
impressive climbing, sitting and upside down moves. The course will
focus on dynamic choreography and also concentrate more on improving
flexibility and strength.
Students who have done pole dancing courses at other schools are
welcome to join us. Just call us to discuss whether you're at the
appropriate level.
This is a continuation of the advanced beginners and for students who want to advance their moves and tricks. You will learn one handed spins, more complex combinations, Ariel transitions, more advanced upside down moves and beautiful choreography. We find that students like to repeat intermediate courses a number of times, as many of the tricks take longer to pick up than moves taught on the beginners. So if you have already done the advanced beginners level, this is the course for you.
A continuation of the Intermediate course where you will again advance your moves and spins and improve your aerial technique. You will lean dynamic floor work and complicated choreography.
When you've accomplished the intermediate moves, you'll be ready for the advanced course. Moves taught on the advanced course include the shoulder mount from figure head, teddies, the helicopter, the bow and arrow, various static aerial poses and complex spins. It will take your pole dancing to the limit so join when you have built up lots of pole strength! A large emphasis is also placed on the dancing not just the tricks so that you are able to link moves together seamlessly.
Express classes are 1 hour & 15 minutes in length and each person is guaranteed their own pole for the entire lesson. You learn exactly the same as on all our other courses but with half the people.
Open classes are for women who already have some pole dancing experience. All levels are welcome, whether you're on a beginner course and fancy a bit of extra practice or someone who's done the advanced and want to keep progressing. They are perfect as refreshers of what you already know and a great place to pick up some extra tricks too.
As well as learning to pole dance on a course you can learn in a private class. Private classes can take place at our studio, outside course times. You can therefore have your private class in the day time or early evening. Lessons can be for beginners or advanced students. Please contact us for details and costs, we cater for all budgets.
We also have special arrangements for women who for privacy reasons prefer to have classes in their own home. Rates for this are arranged on an individual basis.
If you are a group of at least 4 friends who all want to do a course together, let us know. We can arrange for you to have a private 6 week course with one of our teachers, if there are 7 of you, you will get one of the places free!
